NORMAN — The Oklahoma women's gymnastics team held onto the No. 1 spot in the national rankings for the third straight week and rose to the top ranking on all four events. This week marks the first time this season that rankings have been determined by regional qualifying scores (RQS).

RQS is based on a team's six best regular season scores, three of which must be away. The overall high score is eliminated, and the five remaining scores are averaged. RQS scores are used to determine seeding for regional competition at six campus sites on April 2.

Florida is ranked No. 2 with a RQS of 197.355, while Alabama checks in at No. 3 with a 197.195. OU's next opponent, Michigan, sits in fourth place (196.920), and Utah rounds out the top five with a 196.850 RQS.

As a team, the Sooners are ranked first on every event. They remained in the top spot on vault (49.375), bars (49.475) and beam (49.370) for the second consecutive week and jumped into a tie for first place on floor (49.420).

This marks the second straight year that the Sooners have swept the No. 1 rankings at some point during the regular season. OU is one of only four programs to achieve a No. 1 sweep since 1997, joining Florida, Georgia and UCLA.

Eight Sooners hold a nation-leading total of 18 individual top-25 rankings, which are also determined by RQS beginning this week.

Junior Chayse Capps is ranked first in the all-around with a 39.555 RQS, while senior Keeley Kmieciak holds third with a 39.435. This season marks the first time Capps has competed on bars and in the all-around, and Kmieciak has not competed on floor since her freshman season.

For the third straight week, Capps is No. 1 nationally on beam, securing the spot with a 9.930 RQS. Capps and Kmieciak are also tied for fifth on bars with identical marks of 9.900, Capps is tied for 14th on vault (9.870) and Kmieciak shares 18th on beam (9.855).

Junior McKenzie Wofford's 9.940 RQS has her ranked first on bars for the seventh consecutive week, and sophomore Natalie Brown checks in at No. 6 on beam (9.885). Sophomore AJ Jackson is ranked on a trio of events, including vault (2nd - 9.920), bars (T-23 - 9.860) and floor (T-11 - 9.905).

Senior Haley Scaman, junior Charity Jones and freshman Nicole Lehrmann are all ranked on a pair of events. Scaman is tied for eighth on both vault (9.890) and floor (9.915), Jones is tied for 19th on vault (9.860) and 23rd on floor (9.875) and Lehrmann holds 10th on bars (9.885) and is tied for 13th on beam (9.870).
