NORMAN – Sooner Sports TV powered by FOX Sports will air 16 University of Oklahoma women's basketball games during the 2016-17 season, ensuring nationwide coverage for all of the Sooners' home games.
Oklahoma's schedule on Sooner Sports TV begins with the opening tipoff and exhibition matchups against Midwestern State (Nov. 2) and Oklahoma City (Nov. 7). . The other two games in the opening homestand are Sunday, Nov. 13 against Southern Illinois and Wednesday Nov. 16 versus Little Rock. OU's matchup with Little Rock will air exclusively on SoonerSports.tv.
SSTV will also produce OU's games against South Dakota State (Nov. 23), Colorado State (Nov. 27), Oral Roberts (Dec. 4), Texas Rio Grande Valley (Dec. 8), Tulsa (Dec. 11), TCU (Jan. 1), Kansas State (Jan. 4), Texas Tech (Jan. 14), Oklahoma State (Jan. 22), Iowa State (Jan. 25), Kansas (Feb. 1) and West Virginia (Feb. 7).
Sooner Sports TV's programming is delivered on a variety of FOX Sports outlets, including FS Oklahoma, FS Southwest and FOX College Sports.
Sooner Sports TV programming showcases a variety of original programming and studio shows, including coaches' shows, weekly magazine shows and press conferences. In addition, live webcasts and on-demand video content including highlights, features, interviews, classic videos and more are distributed on SoonerSports.tv.
With a monthly, annual or three-year subscription to SoonerSports.tv, starting as low as $9.99 monthly, fans have access to full game replays for all OU sports, as well as live coverage of games not available on TV, weekly coaches shows, an exclusive second screen experience for OU football games and live game audio for football, men's and women's basketball, baseball and softball.
The Big 12 Conference, in conjunction with FOX Sports, previously announced that the Sooners' home contests against Texas (Feb. 18) and Baylor (Feb. 27) will air on Fox Sports 1 and Fox Sports Network, guaranteeing that each and every one of Oklahoma's 18 home contests are set for a national television audience.
