Fans Invited to Preseason Scrimmage on Oct. 27

NORMAN -- Fans are invited to attend Oklahoma women's basketball's annual preseason scrimmage on Thursday, Oct. 27 at 6 p.m. at Lloyd Noble Center. Doors will open at 5 p.m. and admission is free to the event.

The preseason scrimmage will give fans a sneak preview of the Sooners, which includes 12 letterwinners and four starters from last season's squad that advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Head coach Sherri Coale will introduce her team to fans during the event.

Fans of all ages attending the scrimmage are encouraged to dress in Halloween costumes. Kids 12 and under will be receive candy upon entering Lloyd Noble Center.

Fast Break Club members are invited to remain afterwards for their annual autograph session and pizza dinner with the team following the event.

OU begins its 2016-17 schedule on Nov. 2 at 7 p.m. CT with an exhibition game at the Lloyd Noble Center against Midwestern State. The Sooners open the regular season with Southern Illinois on Nov. 13. Tip-off is set for 12:30 p.m. CT.
