Castiglione Announces Staff Promotions

NORMAN — University of Oklahoma Vice President and Director of Athletics Joe Castiglione announced several athletics department staff promotions Friday.
"I'm convinced we have the best and most dedicated collegiate athletics staff in the country," said Castiglione, who is starting his 18th year at OU. "We strive for excellence in every facet of our diverse operation and I'm excited to announce title and responsibility changes for several of our deserving staff members.
"Over the years, we have attracted some of the top people in our field to OU and it's no surprise that they are growing into more expansive roles while our department continues to achieve at a higher and higher level."

Director of Athletics Joe Castiglione
OU's former Associate AD for Event Management, Lindy Roberts-Ivy has been promoted to senior Associate Athletics Director/Senior Woman Administrator.
Greg Tipton has been named Senior Associate AD for Internal Operations, Mike Meade has been named Senior Associate AD for Academic Services and Luther Lee has been named Senior Associate AD for Business/Chief Financial Officer. All three formerly held Associate AD titles.
Dr. Carol Ludvigson has been promoted to Associate Athletics Director/Student Athlete Development. She previously held the title of Director of Student Development.
Teresa Turner has been appointed Director of The Student Athlete Experience after serving as longtime Assistant Director for Athletics Academic Advising - Football.
Bryan Hinnen has been appointed Director of Headington Hall/Residential Life. He was Director of Operations for Headington Hall.
Eric Bailey has been appointed as an Academic Advisor for Football.
OU's 2015-16 academic year began this week.
