- Hermelyn notched his 23rd multi-hit game of the season and hit his fourth home run of the year and sixth of his career. He has hit three homers in the last nine games.
- Craig Aikin hit his team-leading 13th and 14th doubles of the season.
- Aikin posted his 21st multi-hit game and fourth game with four or more hits, including the third two-double game of his career.
- The Sooners pitching staff allowed double digit runs for the first time since April 7 at Oklahoma State.
