Gymnastics Regional Practice Open to Public

NORMAN - Fans wishing to get a preview of this weekend's NCAA Norman Women's Gymnastics Regional will have a golden opportunity on Friday afternoon. Both practice sessions for the regional competition will be open to the public for no cost.
The first practice session will begin at 1:15 p.m. and will feature the No. 1 seeded Oklahoma Sooners, Southern Utah and Missouri. The session is set to conclude at 3:01 p.m.
Following a brief interlude, the second practice session will begin at 4 p.m. and last until 5:46 p.m. Oregon State, Penn State and North Carolina State will participate in the second session.
Fans in attendance will have a chance to watch several of the nation's top gymnastics programs work out on all four events during their practice sessions. Individuals from the Arizona State, Lindenwood, Southeast Missouri State, Illinois-Chicago, Northern Illinois and Illinois State will also rotate through the workout with participating teams. There will also be an opportunity on-site to purchase tickets to Saturday's regional competition.

Tickets for the NCAA Norman Regional are on sale now through the OU Athletics Ticketing Office. The first 250 university students in attendance will receive free admission.
