Notes:

  • Craig Aikin went 3-for-4 to record his 15th multi-hit game of the season and fourth of three-or-more.
  • Aikin passed Matt Bose (205) and former Major Leaguer Greg Norton (206) for 14th all-time in hits at OU with the 207th of his career.
  • Chris Shaw's 3-for-5 performance was his seventh multi-hit and third three-hit game of the season.
  • Over the last 10 games, Shaw is hitting .385 (15-for-39).
  • Corey Copping pitched two innings of relief in his first outing since an appendectomy (3/26). He last pitched in a game at Hawai'i (3/15).
  • The Sooners, who rank second in the Big 12, turned their 41st double play of the season. In 2014, OU turned just 28 double plays.
