Five Things to Know

• Senior Alec Robin earned MPSF Gymnast of the Week honors for his performance against No. 2 Illinois on Friday, Feb. 27. Robin was an integral part in OU resetting the NCAA record for team points in a meet with 457.300. The senior posted scores above 15 in all three of the events he competed. Robin's highest score of the evening came on the floor exercise, where the defending national champion of the apparatus posted a career-high score of 15.800. The Calabasas, Calif., native also posted scores of 15.100 on the pommel horse and 15.200 on the high bar.

• The last two times OU has competed have been record-setting performances. The Crimson and Cream broke the NCAA record for overall team score twice in as many competitions by totaling a mark of 456.400 against Michigan and following up with a 457.300 against No. 2 Illinois. The Sooners are the only team in NCAA history to score higher than a 450, which they accomplished in back-to-back competitions.

• Oklahoma has the top-ranked competitors in three of the six individual events thus far in 2015. Senior Mike Squires leads the way with an unbelievable three score average of 16.300 on the still rings, while fellow senior Michael Reid possesses a three score average of 15.833 on the pommel horse to take the nation's top ranking. OU seniors Danny Berardini and Will Clement are tied for first in the country on the high bar with averages of 15.433.

• The perfect 11-0 record by the Sooners only scratches the surface of showing how dominant the team has been in 2015. Oklahoma has posted the highest event individual score in 28 of 30 events so far this season, with 12 Sooners combining to claim the 28 top scores. The Crimson and Cream swept first-place finishes at the Rocky Mountain Open, the tri-meet at Iowa, the home-opener vs. Michigan and last weekend's dual vs. No. 2 Illinois. Oklahoma has yet to suffer a defeat in the floor exercise, still rings, vault or high bar events.

• Sunday's matchup with the Golden Bears will mark the second meeting this season between the two programs. OU and Cal faced each other earlier in the quad-meet at Stanford, which saw the Crimson and Cream take first place with a score of 440.550 and California finished third with a score of 423.550.
