No. 1 OU Travels to No. 6 California

OU No. 1 Qualifier for NCAA Championships

INDIANAPOLIS – The 2015 National Collegiate Men's Gymnastics National Championships qualifier selections were announced today by the NCAA Men's Gymnastics Committee. The undefeated Sooners were awarded the top-seed for the championships, after claiming their fourth straight MPSF title and improving to 16-0 on the season.

The national qualifier, which consists of two pre-qualifying sessions, will be conducted April 9 at the Lloyd Noble Center on the campus of the University of Oklahoma. The first preliminary session begins at 1 p.m. CT on April 9 and the second session is slated to begin at 7 p.m. on April 9.

The first pre-qualifying session at 1 p.m. on April 9 will consist of No. 2 Stanford, No. 3 Penn State, No. 6 Minnesota, No. 7 California, No. 10 Air Force and No. 11 Nebraska. The second qualifying session at 7 p.m. on that evening will include No. 1 Oklahoma, No. 4 Michigan, No. 5 Illinois, No. 8 Iowa, No. 9 Ohio State and No. 12 Army.

Three teams and the top three all-around competitors not on one of the qualifying teams, plus the top three individuals on each event not already qualified on a team or as an all-around competitor, will advance from each pre-qualifying session to the finals session. The team finals will take place at 7 p.m. CT at the Lloyd Noble Center on April 10 and the individual event finals will also be held at the Lloyd Noble Center at 7 p.m. on April 11.

All-session adult tickets are $25 apiece while youth and group tickets are $15 and student admission is $10. Single-session adult tickets are $10 each, while youth, group and student rates are $5.

For Friday's team final, the first 100 students that present their OU ID card will receive free admission to the 7 p.m. session.

Along with the NCAA Championships, members of the U.S. Men's Senior National Team will be on site signing autographs.

Michigan won the 2014 title with a team score of 445.050. Oklahoma finished second with 441.650, while Stanford placed third with 436.300.
