Notes:

  • Jacob Evans pitched a season-high five innings of relief and struck out a season-high six batters to pick up his third win of the season and 13th of his career.
  • The game was the first extra-inning contest of the season for Oklahoma. In 2014, the Sooners went 5-1 in extras with their last win coming at TCU (5/10/14), 7-5, in 11 innings.
  • Anthony Hermelyn posted his second three-hit game of the season to notch his team-leading 11th multi-hit game of the year. He has hit clean-up in all 22 games this season.
  • Kolbey Carpenter added a season-high three hits for his seventh multi-hit game of the season.
  • Hunter Haley hit his third home run of the season and 11th of his career.
  • Sheldon Neuse is riding a nine-game hitting streak. He is hitting .486 (18-for-37) over that stretch.
