Registration Open for Sooner Jr. Fans Field Trip Day

NORMAN – Registration is now open for Oklahoma women's basketball's second annual Sooner Jr. Fans Field Trip Day set for Jan. 20 against Texas Tech at the Lloyd Noble Center.

With tip-off set for 10:30 a.m., the Sooners will provide a unique opportunity for school children to receive hands on exposure to Division I women's basketball and one of the nation's top-ranked universities. Each child that attends will also receive a workbook with age-appropriate activities.

To sign up, go to soonersports.com/fieldtrip. The deadline for registration is Dec. 30.

Season-ticket holders and all other fans are encouraged to attend the early tip against the Lady Raiders. Admission to the game will be FREE. There will be no tickets issued for this event.

Seating for season-ticket holders will be in a designated area on the east side of the Lloyd Noble Center. Season-ticket holders can also RSVP for the Texas Tech game by clicking here.

Fans will be allowed to bring their own lunch to the game or purchase food from the Lloyd Noble Center concession stands. Parking for the game versus the Lady Raiders will be free. Transportation will not be provided.

Last season, 6,000 kids attended the inaugural event helping the Sooners defeat Iowa State, 75-66.
