Fans Invited to Annual Preseason Scrimmage

NORMAN – Fans are invited to attend Oklahoma women's basketball's annual preseason scrimmage on Friday, Oct. 30 at 6 p.m. at the Lloyd Noble Center. Doors will open at 5 p.m. and admission is free to the event.

The preseason scrimmage will give fans a sneak preview of the Sooners, which includes 11 letterwinners and four starters from last season's squad. Head coach Sherri Coale will introduce her team to fans during the event and go over new rule changes for the upcoming season.

Fans of all ages attending the scrimmage are encouraged to dress in Halloween costumes and kids 12 and under will be able to Trick-or-Treat with the team around the Lloyd Noble Center concourse. The 2015-16 schedule poster will also be available to fans at the event.

Fast Break Club members are invited to remain afterwards for their annual autograph session and pizza dinner with the team following the event.

OU begins its 2015-16 slate with a Nov. 4 exhibition game at the Lloyd Noble Center against Southwestern Oklahoma State before opening up the regular season with Winthrop on Nov. 13.
