·Starters for Oklahoma were: Gabbi Ortiz (G), Peyton Little (G), Gioya Carter (G), Sharane Campbell-Olds (G) and Kaylon Williams (F). Third-straight game with this starting lineup and seventh time this year. The lineup holds 5-1 record.
·The reigning Big 12 Conference Player of the Week Gioya Carter started the game off with a bang. The guard scored the first 11 points for OU; hitting a perfect f-of-4 from the line, including three 3-pointers. Carter ended the half with 13 points and led all scorers with 19. It was the third-straight game of 17 or more points for Carter.
· Kansas used a 7-2 run over the final 4:52 of the first half to cut Oklahoma's halftime advantage to 30-28.
· Oklahoma opened the second half with a 10-0 run to open its largest lead of the game at 40-28 with 16:11 remaining.
· After not hitting a field goal in the Sooners win against West Virginia, redshirt sophomore Peyton Little hit seven field goals in OU's win over Kansas. Little finished with a 17 points; her eighth double-figure performance of the season and the first-ever in Big 12 Conference play.
· Redshirt junior Kaylon Williams played a career-high 32 minutes in the win. She secured her second double-double of the season with 14 points – 12 coming in the second half – and a season-high 11 rebounds.
·Oklahoma finished the game with just 12 turnovers, second-lowest turnover output of the season.
· The Sooners moved to 2-0 in the Big 12 Conference and 9-5 overall.
· Oklahoma help Kansas' leading scorer Chelsea Gardner (16.1 ppg) to seven points in the contest. She hit 3-of-10 from the field and 1-of-1 from the charity stripe and fouled out of the contest with 1:23 remaining in the second half.
