NOTES AND NUMBERS FOR WEEK FOUR

DOUBLE UP
The Oklahoma women's gymnastics team will cap a busy weekend on Saturday, Jan. 31 at the annual Metroplex Challenge in Fort Worth, Texas. The meet will pit the top-ranked Sooners against No. 2 LSU, No. 8 Arkansas and Iowa State in the Fort Worth Convention Center and should serve as a valuable preview of the future NCAA Championships venue. OU opened the week on Thursday with a 197.650-195.900 win over No. 20 Denver and will travel over 1,600 miles total this weekend for competition.

TRIPLE THREAT
The Sooners enter Saturday's week after earning a big 197.650 road win on Thursday, marking the nation's highest away score yet this season. Oklahoma now owns the nation's top three team scores in 2015, including an NCAA-best 197.850 on Jan. 23 in Norman. The squad's No. 3 score came in its season-opener on Jan. 9, a 197.625 win over Arkansas. OU's No. 1 overall national ranking is supported by the squad's overall average score of 197.406 through four meets.

ROAD WARRIORS
This weekend's competition marks the beginning of a six-meet road stand for Oklahoma and take the Sooners to six different states throughout February. After a trip to Denver on Thursday, OU will be in Fort Worth this weekend before heading for a road contest with Iowa State on Feb. 6. The Sooners will take part in the annual Perfect 10 Challenge at a neutral site in Oklahoma City before jetting off for meets at Illinois and Michigan to cap the month.

SUPER PAIR
The Oklahoma duo of freshman Brenna Dowell and junior Haley Scaman continue to shine for the Sooners, combining for 11 event titles and two perfect 10.0s in just four meets this season. Scaman extended her OU-best record of 10.0s in a career to four on Jan. 23, earning her second perfect score on vault against TWU and SEMO. She remains the only OU gymnast in program history to post 10.0s on multiple events. The Riverside, Ill., native has won seven individual event titles so far this season and at least two in every meet except OU's win over TWU and SEMO. Dowell, meanwhile, enters this weekend as the only NCAA gymnast to score a perfect 10.0 on an event other than vault this season. She has four individual titles to her name and has taken top honors on floor in each of OU's last two competitions.
