NOTES AND NUMBERS FOR WEEK THREE

HOME SWEET HOME
The Oklahoma women's gymnastics team returns to the friendly confines of the Lloyd Noble Center this weekend to face TWU and Southeast Missouri State. Strength at home is the name of the game for the Sooners: OU is 65-4 at home under head coach K.J. Kindler, including only two home losses since 2010. The program also holds a combined 68-4 all-time mark against TWU and SEMO.

TIED AT THE TOP
The Sooners enter this weekend tied for No. 1 in the country with the same team that the squad finished 2014 at the top alongside: the Florida Gators. Oklahoma and UF each hold a season average of 197.063 through two meets this season after tying for the NCAA title last year. This weekend marks the first time since Jan. 17-31, 2014 that Oklahoma has spent consecutive weeks at the top of the national rankings. After earning a preseason ranking of No. 2 in the country, the Sooners catapulted to No. 1 last week and have maintained that position. OU is set to face three of the nation's top-five teams this season (No. 1 Florida, No. 3 LSU and No. 4 Michigan).

HALEY THE GREAT
Oklahoma junior Haley Scaman hasn't lost any steam from her super sophomore campaign in 2014. Scaman owns two vault and two floor exercise titles in two meets so far this season and has only posted one routine below a 9.9 in six total performances. The Riverside, Ill., native has now won the event title on floor in 11 of Oklahoma's last 13 team competitions dating back to Feb. 9, 2014. Scaman owns three career perfect 10.0 routines--all posted in her sophomore campaign--including two on floor and one on vault.

DYNAMIC DUO
The Sooners' No. 2 national ranking on uneven bars has been bolstered in no small part by the dynamic underclass pairing of McKenzie Wofford and Brenna Dowell. Sophomore Wofford has embraced her work at the No. 4 position in the lineup, posting stellar routines of 9.925 and 9.875 in the last two weeks. True freshman Dowell has also shone for OU, earning a 9.95 last weekend in Minnesota. Dowell is one of only two freshman gymnasts in the country to post a 9.95 or better on uneven bars this season. The duo is tied for No. 8 nationally as individuals on uneven bars.

QUICK HITS
• Oklahoma netted another pair of Big 12 weekly honors this week after a victory over Minnesota. Haley Scaman captured Gymnast of the Week honors for the second week in a row, while Brenna Dowell captured her first award as Newcomer of the Week.
• OU pulled down a total of 11 individual national rankings this week: Chayse Capps (BB – T-3rd, V – T-10th), Brenna Dowell (UB – T-8th), Ali Jackson (V – T-20th, FX – T-15th), Maile'ana Kanewa (V – T-25th), Kara Lovan (FX – T-15th), Haley Scaman (V – T-8th, UB – T-13th, FX – T-2nd) and McKenzie Wofford (UB – T-8th).
• In addition to OU's primary lineups in the last two meets, the Sooners have shown off nine total exhibition routines in a display of depth.
• All of OU's regular season matches as well as the conference championship and regional contests will be televised live by Sooner Sports TV.
• With 276 career victories, head coach K.J. Kindler is within striking distance of her 300th career win in 2015.
