 IT'S BIG 12 TIME

The Oklahoma women's basketball team opens Big 12 Conference play Sunday hosting West Virgina at the Lloyd Noble Center. The Mountaineers enter the contest with a 10-2 record and ranked 21st in the USA Today Coaches Top 25 poll and receiving votes in the Associated Press poll. The Sooners currently hold a 6-5 record.

OKLAHOMA AND THE BIG 12 CONFERENCE
• Oklahoma ended the 2014 Big 12 Conference slate with a 9-9 mark. The record tied the Sooners for fifth with Iowa State.
• The Sooners finished with a 6-3 Big 12 Conference record playing at home in 2014 and a 3-6 mark playing on the road.
• Head coach Sherri Coale is 12-6 all-time in Big 12 Conference season-opening games. The Sooners have won three-straight season-opening league games. They have opened with West Virginia once and they earned a 71-68 victory (Jan. 2, 2013 - at the LNC).
• Oklahoma has one reigning Big 12 all-conference member on its squad. Senior Sharane Campbell-Olds was tabbed Big 12 honorable mention as a junior, Big 12 All-Freshman team honors and was tabbed the Big 12 Sixth Man of the Year as a freshman (2011-12).

OKLAHOMA NON-CONFERENCE QUICK HITS
• Oklahoma closed out its non-conference slate with a 6-5 overall mark. The Sooners defeated Yale, 71-54, Dec. 30 to end non-conference play and snap a 3-game losing skid.
• The Sooners game against Yale at the Lloyd Noble Center on Dec. 30 was their first since Nov. 21. OU played seven-straight games between its home victory over Bradley, Nov. 21 and its Lloyd Noble Center win over Yale, Dec. 30. The Sooners went 2-5 in their seven-game road stretch.
• Oklahoma used four different starting lineups in its 11-game non-conference slate:
- Gabbi Ortiz, Peyton Little, Gioya Carter, Sharane Campbell-Olds, Kaylon Williams (4-1, 4-0 at the Lloyd Noble Center)
- Gabbi Ortiz, Peyton Little, LaNesia Williams, Sharane Campbell-Olds, Kaylon Williams (2-2)
- Gabbi Ortiz, Nicole Kornet, LaNesia Williams, Sharane Campbell Olds, Kaylon Williams (0-1)
- Gabbi Ortiz, Nicole Kornet, LaNesia Williams, Sharane Campbell Olds, Vionise Pierre-Louis (0-1)
The starting lineup of Ortiz, Little, Carter, Campbell-Olds and K. Williams is most recent. That has been the starting lineup in each of the Sooners home games.
• Nine Oklahoma players ended non-conference averaging double-figure minutes. Only one player averaged more than thirty minutes a game and that was freshman Gabbi Ortiz. The point guard averaged 31.6. The Sooner who averaged the second-most minutes was senior Sharane Campbell-Olds (27.5).
• The Sooners averaged 4,926 fans per home game in non-conference. OU's season-high thus far in attendance is 5,230 in its home-opening win against Washington.

ZERO
