vs. Texas Longhorns
· Oklahoma's 70-59 win over the Longhorns was the first time the Sooners have defeated a Top 5 ranked team since 2008-09 when the defeated then-fifth ranked Baylor (66-58) in the two schools' second contest of the season.
· Peyton Little, Gabbi Ortiz, Sharane Campbell-Olds, Gioya Carter and Kaylon Williams were Oklahoma's starting five. The starting five is now 8-1 on the year.
· Attendance for Wednesday's matchup with the Longhorns was 5,610. It was the largest home crowd of the season.
· Eleven players saw action in the first half in the first half for Oklahoma led by Peyton Little with six first half points. Little also collected six rebounds in the half.
· Oklahoma's Gioya Carter only appeared in two minutes in the first half due to foul trouble. The Sooners bench helped lessen the blow of her absence by scoring 11 and collecting seven rebounds.
· Gioya Carter played a season low nine minutes on the night due to foul trouble. She finished with 11 points.
· Oklahoma led 31-28 at half. It was the first time that Texas had trailed at halftime since Dec. 21 against Texas A&M
· Peyton Little and Gioya Carter combined scored the first ten points of the second half for Oklahoma.
· Peyton Little had her first career double-double with 13 points and a career high 10 rebounds in a career-high 39 minutes.
· Maddie Manning was a spark off the bench for Oklahoma leading the team with a personal high of 14 points.
· Maddie Manning made a team season high 12 free throws in the game.
· Oklahoma held Texas to under 60 points for only the second time all season. The Longhorns are 0-2 when scoring 59 or fewer.
· Oklahoma scored 30 points off of 18 Texas turnovers.
· Texas shot a season low 26.2 percent from the field.
· Oklahoma remains undefeated in the Big 12 at 4-0. It is the best start for the Sooners in conference since 2012-13.
· With the win over Texas, the Sooners remain undefeated at the Lloyd Noble Center on the year at 6-0.
