Robinson Headed To WNBA All-Star Game

NEW YORK – After a vote by the league's head coaches, Danielle Robinson is headed back to the Boost Mobile WNBA All-Star Game as a Western Conference reserve. The University of Oklahoma alum and fourth-year player for the San Antonio Silver Stars will make her second-consecutive appearance in the contest.

The 2014 WNBA All-Star game will take place at the US Airways Center in Phoenix on Saturday, July 19, and will be nationally televised on ESPN, with tip-off at 2:30 p.m. CT.

Robinson leads the Stars in scoring average (13.4) and assists (5.3) thus far in 2014, and ranks fifth in the WNBA in the latter category. She also ranks second in the league in free throw percentage, shooting 93.5 percent from the line.

During the 2013 WNBA All-Star contest, Robinson scored two points, grabbed six rebounds and dished out four assists in 15 minutes to help the Western Conference to a 102-98 victory over the East.
