Not ready to stop celebrating Oklahoma women's gymnastics' first-ever national championship? Mark your calendar--now, you don't have to.
The Sooners wil host a banquet celebrating the program's first NCAA title on Friday, Aug. 29 at 6 p.m. The celebration will be held at the Lloyd Noble Center, with tickets costing $25 per person.
The night will be one to remember for fans in attendance, featuring a silent auction of commemorative championship items, speakers, season recap videos, autographs, music and more. Attendees will also enjoy a catered meal as they help the team celebrate a truly historic season.
The weekend will also serve as Oklahoma's annual alumni reunion, with festivities planned on Aug. 29 and 30 for former members of the program. Members of the program will receive formal invitations from the Varsity O Association.
Space for the event is limited, and fans are encouraged to reserve their spots for this event as soon as possible. RSVPs from the general public are due by Aug. 1 and can be sent to Shelley Harmon at sharmon@ou.edu.
