  • Choplick made his first relief appearance of the last. He last came out of the bullpen at LSU in the NCAA Baton Rouge Super Regional on June 8, 2013.
  • Choplick struck out six batters or more for the seventh time this season. His eight strikeouts are a season-high and matched a career-high set on March 17, 2013 against Northwestern State.
  • The 8,391 in attendance was the largest crowd OU played in front of all season.
