- Now 40-10 on the season, the Sooners have reached 40 wins in 50 games or fewer for the seventh time in program history and fourth time in the last five seasons.
- Oklahoma posted its 11th straight non-conference win.
- The Sooners are now 19-2 all-time against Arkansas and have won five straight in the series. Among teams it has faced at least 20 times, OU's winning percentage of .905 against the Razorbacks is second best.
- The six-run first inning tied as the second-best opening inning of the season behind a nine-run first in game two of a doubleheader against Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Feb. 28. The other six-run first inning came in game one of that same doubleheader.
- Junior Georgia Casey's three-run home run in the first inning was her 10th this season and the 26th of her career. The 10 homers match a season high she set as a freshman in 2012.
- Casey scored three runs to tie a career high. It was the eighth time in her career, and fifth time this season, she scored three runs in a game.
- Senior Destinee Martinez extended her hitting streak to a season-best seven games by going 1-2 with an RBI single. In addition, she moved into 10th on the Big 12's career at-bats list she now has 749 in her career to move past Nebraska's Amber Burgess ('00-03).
- Martinez is also now tied for in ninth place in Big 12 history with 256 hits, tying Texas Tech's Sandy Butler ('98-01).
- Junior Lauren Chamberlain was 1-3 with a walk. She is now tied with Baylor's Brette Regan ('06-09) for seventh on the Big 12's career list with 133.
- Sophomore Kelsey Stevens made her 38th start of the season. That ties former Sooners Casey Dickson (1997) and Heather Scaglione (2004) for ninth most in OU history.
- Sophomore Kady Self was 0-2 with a run scored to snap a career-best 10-game hitting streak. She did walk twice, however, to tie a career high done two times prior.
- Senior Brittany Williams tied a season high by collecting two hits, her 11th multi-hit game of the season.
- Sophomore Leslie Miller scored twice in the same game for the first time in her career. Previously, she had scored one run in 15 different games.
