The Sooners held their lead in the Big 12 standings, improving to 10-1 and distancing themselves from second-place Texas (6-2).
OU has won three straight against the Longhorns and four of its past five in the series. All-time, Oklahoma leads 27-23, including a 12-7 mark in Norman.
This marks the third weekend in a row that the first-place Sooners face the team in second place in the Big 12 standings. In those seven games, OU is 6-1.

Junior Georgia Casey was 2-3 in the game with two runs scored and a two-run homer. It was her eighth home run of the season and the 24th of her career.
Casey has 14 multi-hit games this year, tying Shelby Pendley for the most on the team.
Senior Brittany Williams was also 2-3 and hit a solo home run. It was No. 5 on the year and No. 30 in her OU career.
Sophomore Whitney Ellis threw out a would-be basestealer in the first inning. Opponents are now 6-17 against her this year, and Ellis also has five pickoffs.
Junior Shelby Pendley was 0-2 but did draw a walk to extend her on-base streak to 26 games.
