Robin Earns Conference Honor

NORMAN, Okla. -- Oklahoma men's gymnast Alec Robin earned the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Gymnast of the Week award following his excellent performance against the best gymnasts in the country at the Winter Cup over the weekend.

Robin finished the two-day competition first on floor with a score of 30.900 and 12th overall in the all-around (165.900). His scores of 15.500 and 15.400 on floor were the third and fourth best among all scores posted at the event. The junior also placed fifth on pommel horse (27.300) and 14th on vault (29.600).

Robin, who previously earned an MPSF Gymnast of the Week honor on Feb. 5, 2013, is currently ranked first in the NCAA on floor exercise for the Sooners, ranked No. 1 in the nation for the seventh-consecutive week.
