Oklahoma vs. Missouri

• The No. 22/20 Sooners shot season highs of .574 from the field and .500 (10 for 20) from 3-point range in an 82-63 home win over Missouri. The victory clinched the SEC/Big 12 Challenge for the Big 12 for a second straight year (the Big 12 is 6-2 this year so far).
• The OU junior trio of Ryan Spangler (18 points), Buddy Hield (17) and Isaiah Cousins (16) combined for 51 points on 8-for-10 3-point shooting.
• Spangler hit a 3-pointer right before the first-half buzzer for a 37-25 lead and the Sooners scored the first 15 points of the second half to go up 52-25. Missouri did not score in the second half until 14:44 remained.
• Spangler entered the game shooting a team-high .594 from the field and went 7 for 8 tonight. The forward also went 2 for 2 from 3-point range to make him 6 for 9 (.667) on the year. Spangler went 3 for 11 all of last season.
• Hield scored 12 of his 17 in the second half (played nine minutes), when he was 4 for 4 from the field and 2 for 2 from behind the arc. He added a team-high-tying five rebounds, two assists and three steals without a turnover.
• Cousins was 6 for 9 from the field and made each of his three 3-point attempts (all in the first half). He added three assists, two blocks and two steals.
• The Sooners made 17 second-half shots and missed only eight for a .680 percentage. All five starters shot better than .500 for the game.
• Senior TaShawn Thomas blocked five shots tonight, the most by a Sooner since D.J. Bennett registered five rejections against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi a year ago to the day. Thomas added nine points and four rebounds.
• OU is off for final exams next week and doesn't play again until Saturday, Dec. 13 when it travels to take on Tulsa in a 1:30 p.m. CT game (televised by CBS Sports Network).
