• No. 15 Oklahoma outscored Oral Roberts 30-3 off turnovers and cruised to an 85-53 home win to improve to 7-2 on the season. The Sooners entered the game with a +20 season margin in points off turnovers (108-88).

• OU gave up the game's first two points before quickly scoring the next seven to take command. The Sooners led 39-24 at halftime and started the second half on an 18-2 run to go up 57-26 with 14 minutes to go. They led by as many as 41 points (85-44) before ORU made three 3-pointers in the final 1:21.

• OU forced 19 turnovers while committing just six (its fewest in 42 games). The Sooners outscored the Golden Eagles 16-6 in transition.

• Oklahoma's .536 field goal mark was its second highest of the season (shot .574 in last home game vs. Missouri). It marked the third time in this season's four home games that OU shot at least 50 percent from the floor.

• Junior guard Buddy Hield matched his season average by scoring a team-high 16 points in just 21 minutes. He was 6 for 10 from the field and 3 for 5 from 3-point range.

• Senior forward TaShawn Thomas scored 10 of OU's first 15 points and finished with 14 while adding four rebounds and two blocks in only 17 minutes. He was 7 for 10 from the field, making him 16 for 22 over the last two outings. He has shot at least 50 percent from the field in all but the first game of the year.

• Junior forward Ryan Spangler notched his third double-double of the year (first since the season's second game) with 13 points and a game-high 10 boards. He was 6 for 9 from the field and 1 for 2 from 3-point range (7 for 12 for the season from deep). He has led OU in rebounding in seven of nine games this year and has shot at least 50 percent from the floor in 34 of 42 games as a Sooner.

• Junior guard Isaiah Cousins finished with 13 points and six rebounds. He was 3 for 6 from 3-point range, making him 11 for 17 over the last three outings.

• Sophomore guard Jordan Woodard tallied eight points and a game-high eight assists while committing two turnovers. Over the last two games, he has 17 assists and three turnovers.

• The Sooners held Obi Emegano, ORU's leading scorer entering the game (16.9 ppg), scoreless. Emegano was 0 for 3 from the field in his 26 minutes.

• OU heads west to Las Vegas to take on No. 16/16 Washington on Saturday at 8 p.m. CT in the MGM Grand Showcase. The game, which will precede Utah vs. UNLV, will be played at the MGM Grand Garden Arena and will be televised by ESPNU.
