Intrasquad Set for Friday

Preparations for the 2015 Oklahoma women's gymnastics season are in full swing, and the defending NCAA Champion Sooners are ready to show off their routines. Get all the details on Oklahoma's free annual intrasquad below.

WHO: The Oklahoma women's gymnastics team and YOU

Sooner lineups will hit the floor on all four events in front of fans. Oklahoma's roster this season includes 12 returners from its 2014 NCAA championship group alongside five newcomers. OU returns a total of six previous All-Americans for 2015.

WHAT: Annual Intrasquad

The Sooners will perform full routines and be judged in front of fans at their annual intrasquad competition on Friday. The intrasquad is free and open to the public!

Fans in attendance can receive free pizza while supplies last. There will also be post-meet autographs available to those in attendance.

Friday night will be the first chance for season ticket holders to pick up their ticket packages and a special gift. Those who wish to purchase season tickets will have an opportunity to do so on-site.

WHEN: Friday, Dec. 5 at 6 p.m.

Fans are encouraged to arrive early to snag their seats and enjoy free pizza prior to the beginning of the meet.

WHERE: The Sam Viersen Gymnastics Center

The Viersen Center is located in Norman, Okla., north of the Lloyd Noble Center by the intersection of S. Jenkins Ave. and Imhoff Ave. Parking is available behind the gym (accessible via Asp Ave.), or across the street at the Lloyd Noble Center.

Oklahoma will open the 2015 season on Jan. 9 against the Arkansas Razorbacks. The meet is set for a 7 p.m. start at the Lloyd Noble Center, and fans can snag season tickets and reserve their seat now.
