Redshirt-sophomore outside hitter Madison Ward ranks second on the team at 3.01 kills and 2.42 digs per set. Junior setter Julia Doyle is managing the offense with 10.43 assists per set.

Promotions

The calendar may turn to November on Saturday, but it's still Halloween at McCasland. Free candy will be available for kids 14 and under at the door and a match-break costume contest will take place between the second and third sets. Post-match autographs will be available and Saturday will also mark the fourth “Canes Challenge” match of the season.

On the Air

Saturday's match will be a SoonerSports.tv exclusive. Bill Doleman steps in for the call alongside familiar color commentator Laura Alford.

Return to the Poll

Oklahoma comes into the weekend ranked No. 25 in the AVCA Coaches Poll. The Sooners last reached the Top-25 on September 1 at No. 24 along with Louisville. Oklahoma reached the poll just once in 2013 at No. 25 on October 28. The Sooners were last ranked in the Top-25 on multiple occasions in one season in 2011 when they appeared in the poll for 11 straight weeks.

Home Court Advantage

Oklahoma is 8-0 at McCasland Field House this season, including a four-match sweep of the NIKE Invitational (9/10-13). During a span of seven NCAA Tournaments in eight years, the Sooners are 94-37 at their home floor. The Sooners set an average attendance record at 928 in 2013 and are averaging 802 so far in 2014.
