NANNING, China – Oklahoma legend Jake Dalton wrapped up his stay in China at the 2014 World Championships on Sunday, earning his second podium finish of the championships with a third place finish in the vault event final. Dalton recorded a high score of 15.199 on the apparatus to earn the bronze medal.

Over the course of the 2014 World Championships, Dalton was able to double his career medal count, adding two bronze medals to his collection, which now sits at four medals.

Dalton was the gymnast to capture the bronze medal for the U.S. Men's National Team earlier on Tuesday, Oct. 7, nailing his floor exercise routine to push the U.S. past Great Britain for a spot on the podium.

The OU alum also competed in the floor exercise final on Saturday, Oct. 11, recording a fourth place finish, one spot away from his third medal.
