Oklahoma vs. TCU

• No. 25/25 Oklahoma outscored TCU 11-3 over the final 3:33 of a 77-69 win at Lloyd Noble Center to improve to 15-4 overall and to move into a second-place Big 12 tie at 4-2. TCU fell to 9-9 overall and to 0-6 in the league.
• OU had five double-digit scorers tonight, the eighth time in 19 games they've had at least five with 10 or more points (last year it accomplished the feat three times all season).
• The Horned Frogs, who shot just .431 from the field and .294 (5-for-17) from the free throw line, outscored OU 24-19 off turnovers and 14-9 in second-chance points.
• Buddy Hield scored a team-high 16 points for the Sooners on 7-for-14 shooting, his 18th time in double figures this season (scored 10 or more seven times all of last season). The sophomore was 2-for-7 from 3-point range and has made at least two treys in every Big 12 game this year. He added a team-high five assists (tied a season-high).
• Senior Cameron Clark finished with 15 points, six rebounds, two assists and a career-high five steals. He was 3-for-4 from 3-point range after going 2-for-12 from long distance in OU's first five Big 12 games.
• Sophomore Ryan Spangler recorded his Big 12-leading eighth double-double with 13 points and a career-high 16 rebounds. He scored all 13 points after halftime and added two steals and his third 3-pointer of the season. Spangler was 4-for-8 from the field and has shot at least 50 percent in every game this year.
• Sophomore Isaiah Cousins contributed 11 points, a career-high-tying seven rebounds and three steals. He was 4-for-6 from the field and hit his lone 3-point attempt.
• Sophomore Je'lon Hornbeak came off the bench to score 10 points, his most since the third game of the season. He was 4-for-5 from the field and added two assists and two steals. Hornbeak had tallied seven points in his first five Big 12 contests.
• Oklahoma entered the game shooting a healthy .419 from 3-point range in home games and went 8-for-18 tonight (.444). They lead the Big 12 with their 9.0 treys per conference game.
• OU's bench outscored TCU's 20-4. It was the Sooners' most points from their reserves in the past five games.
• The Sooners are back in action Saturday at Texas Tech (3 p.m. on Big 12 Network).
