Promotional Requests

The OU Athletics Department is approached to support thousands of worthwhile charitable causes and events each year. We make every effort to accommodate as many requests as possible. However, due to the number of requests the Sooners receive on a monthly basis, we are simply unable to accommodate all requests that fit our guidelines.

Autograph Requests

All requests will be limited to non-profit organizations that are approved by the OU Athletics Compliance Department. No individual requests will be fulfilled.

Autograph Request Process

Complete the Request Form. We strongly urge organizations to submit requests at least one month prior to the date when the item is needed.
OU Compliance will review your request and provide feedback on the status of your request via email within 5-10 business days.
Within 2-3 business days of receiving approval from Compliance, a member of OU's staff will contact you to arrange payment. Due to the volume of requests we receive, please do not call OU Athletics to inquire about the status of your request.
Once your payment is finalized, your OU representative will work with you to determine the best way to get the item to you. You can either arrange for a time to pick up the item at the OU Athletics Department, or you may elect to have the item shipped to you. If you would like the item shipped, you will be required to pay shipping costs of $15.

Appearance Requests

Things to Remember:

Please complete and submit the Appearance Request Form AT LEAST 2 WEEKS but no more than 3 months in advance. Forms that are completed outside this window are subject to dismissal.
We will do our best but may be unable to complete requests during exam weeks or during football weekends since our spirit members are students.
We ask that you please provide mascots a private location in which to get changed (ponies are shy).
We ask that appearances please be limited to 2 hours and allow a 15 minute break per hour.

Costumed Mascot & Spirit Costs

Private events such as weddings, birthday parties, etc. are available. Please submit the Appearance Request Form to be contacted for event and payment details.

Posters

Posters for the 2024-25 season are available. To request a poster, mail a poster tube to the following address and include inside the tube a prepaid return label to send your fulfilled poster request back to.
