Oklahoma
took a 67-45 lead with 7:54 remaining in the second half but was outscored 32-10
the rest of regulation and eventually lost 92-86 in overtime at Texas.

The
Sooners fell to 0-2 in overtime this year (also lost at Oklahoma State on Feb.
16).

OU
shot .509 from the field on the night to become the first team to shoot at least
50 percent against the Longhorns this year. The Sooners shot .708 from the field
in the first half (17-for-24) but just .364 (12-for-33) the rest of the game.

OU
shot .500 from 3-point range on the game (9-for-18) to become just the second
Texas opponent to shoot at least 50 percent from behind the arc this season (Kansas
State was also 9-for-18 on Saturday). The Sooners were 7-for-9 (.778) from deep
in the first half.

Senior
forward
Romero Osby scored a career-high 31 points on 9-for-13 field goal and
13-for-17 free throw shooting. His 13 makes and 17 attempts from the line were
career highs. He added five rebounds and three assists. Osby scored 29 points
against Texas in Norman on Jan. 21.

Senior
guard
Steven Pledger scored 18 points (fourth straight game with at least 18),
but was scoreless over the final 18 minutes. He was 5-for-6 from 3-point range
in the first half and had 15 points at intermission. He finished the game with
a season-high-tying six 3-pointers on 12 attempts.

Junior
forward
Amath M'Baye was 7-for-11 from the field and finished with 16 points,
four rebounds, two blocks and a steal. He tied a career high with two 3-pointers
and has made seven of his nine 3-pointers on the season over the last six games.

After
averaging 17.7 points over the last three games, senior guard
Sam Grooms was held
to three tonight (0-for-4 from the field) but did rack up a season-high six assists.

Junior
Cameron Clark scored eight points in a season-high-tying 26 minutes off the bench
and pulled down a team-high eight rebounds.

Texas
went 18-for-19 from the free throw line in the second half after going 3-for-8
in the first half.

Oklahoma
is back in action Saturday when it hosts Iowa State at 12:30 p.m. CT (Big 12 Network
telecast). A pre-game senior ceremony will be held for
Casey Arent,
Andrew Fitzgerald,
Sam Grooms,
Romero Osby and
Steven Pledger.
