Postgame Notes

December 18, 2013 | Women's Basketball

Oklahoma was delayed by traffic arriving to Webster Bank Arena and tip-off was delayed approximately 45 minutes.

UConn players Bria Hartley and Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis attended the game. Hartley and Mosqueda-Lewis teamed with Aaryn Ellenberg on the 2013 Team USA World University Games championship squad, coached by Sherri Coale. Sooner alum Stephanie Simon, a member of OU's 2002 Final Four team, was also in attendance.

Aaryn Ellenberg was 4-for-9 from 3-point range.  Ellenberg is 72 3-pointers shy of the NCAA career record set by Kansas State's Laurie Koehn.

Oklahoma was scoreless from the field for a six consecutive minutes in the first half, but allowed just four points and never lost it lead.
