• Oklahoma and Texas met for the 43rd time. The Longhorns lead the overall series 23-20. OU was won 12 of the past 16 meetings.

• The visit to Austin, Texas, was just OU's third true road game this season. OU has averaged a 18-point margin of victory in the three true road games. OU defeated Creighton in its season opener in Omaha, Neb., 69-48, and Hawaii in Honolulu, 74-49. The Sooners led Texas by as much as 18 with 8 minutes to play.

• Oklahoma has allowed just 27.3 points per first half this season.

• Oklahoma is 10-0 when leading at halftime and 2-2 when trailing.

• Oklahoma is 12-0 when holding a team to 40.0 percent or lower field goal shooting. Texas made just 39.5 percent of its field goals.

  Sophomore Guard Sharane Campbell

• Campbell has averaged 17.0 points and 6.7 rebounds since returning to the starting lineup the last three games.

• Campbell's 24 points (7-of-11 field goal shooting) was a career high.

• Campbell was 3-of-21 (.143) from 3-point range entering game and made all three of her attempts Saturday.

  Junior Guard Aaryn Ellenberg

• Ellenberg has averaged 21.8 points and 50 percent 3-point shooting in five games since Whitney Hand's career-ending injury.

  Junior Center Nicole Griffin

• With two blocks Saturday, Griffin tied Angi Guffy(1992-95) for fifth on Oklahoma's career blocks list at 99 total.

  Senior Forward Joanna McFarland

• McFarland's five-game streak of double-digit rebounding ended with just three boards today.
