OU, FOX Celebrate Sooner Sports TV

NORMAN, Okla. -- A week after launching Sooner Sports TV, OU and FOX Sports formally celebrated their new partnership Thursday with a reception at Gaylord Family - Oklahoma Memorial Stadium.

OU Vice President and Director of Athletics Joe Castiglione and FOX Sports Southwest Senior Vice President Jon Heidtke both reiterated their excitement over the deal and what it holds for the future of Sooner sports programming in the state of Oklahoma and beyond.

FOX Sports analyst Charles Davis, who will call the OU vs. K-State game Saturday alongside Gus Johnson, also addressed the crowd, speaking of the rich history and tradition that makes Oklahoma such a unique place.

Live programming on Sooner Sports TV this weekend includes soccer vs. Baylor Friday at 7 p.m. (FS Oklahoma+), football pre-game (10 a.m.) and post-game (10 p.m.) shows Saturday on FS Oklahoma, and soccer vs. Texas Sunday at 1 p.m. (FS Oklahoma).
