Sooner Women Take 12th In Missouri

Joplin, Mo. -- The University of Oklahoma women's cross country team finished 12th at the Missouri Southern Stampede in Joplin, Mo., Saturday morning.
Senior Molly Ferguson led the Crimson and Cream Saturday and was OU's top finisher with an 11th place, 18:05 effort. Ferguson was followed by senior Robin Ray who finished 23rd (18:26) and redshirt sophomore Myranda Joiner in who crossed the line 132nd (21:18).
Sophomore Lantana McGraw and redshirt freshman Abby Tillman made their 2012 season debut with times of 22:07 and 22:28, respectively.
The Sooner women will be back in action September 29 at the Cowboy Jamboree in Stillwater, Okla.
