LAWRENCE, Kan. -- No. 23 Oklahoma won the first two games of the series at Kansas but Sunday's finale was rained out in Lawrence. The game will not be made up for the Sooners, which improved to 28-16 overall and 9-8 in Big 12 play after the weekend.
Heavy rain fell throughout most of the night after the Sooners wrapped up the series win on Saturday with an 8-2 decision and is expected to continue throughout today.
Max White had a career-high five RBI in Saturday's win as he extended his hitting streak to seven games with multiple hits. White has 16 hits and 13 RBI in that span.
OU won the opener on Friday, 4-1, behind the second straight complete game performance from Jordan John (8-4).
The Sooners return to action on Tuesday at TCU. Following the game in Fort Worth, OU and OSU will tangle in the Oklahoma Farm Bureau Bedlam Series. Friday's opener in Tulsa is set for 7 p.m. while the series shifts to Oklahoma City on Saturday (7 p.m. ) and Sunday (4 p.m.).
