OU's Title IX Trailblazer: Marita Hynes

NORMAN, Okla. -- In honor of the 40th anniversary of the passing of the Title IX legislation, the National Association of Collegiate Women's Athletics Administrators (NACWAA) is sponsoring a contest to celebrate a trailblazer who has made significant contributions to gender equity.
 
A winner will be selected from a list of 25 entrants from schools and conferences across the country, including Oklahoma's Marita Hynes, former OU softball coach and first Senior Woman Administrator.
 

 
You may register a new click every day from now until Monday, April 23. The video receiving the most clicks will be named the winner and will receive $9,000. Additionally, representatives from the winning institution and its trailblazer will be invited to attend the 2012 NACWAA National Convention in Kansas City, Oct. 7-10.
