THE GAME PLAN
Oklahoma hosts Missouri Saturday, Feb. 11, at 2 p.m. and will feature the 10th Anniversary Reunion of OU's 2002 Final Four team. The game will be televised on the Sooner Sports Network with Bob Carpenter and Dan Hughes, head coach and general manager of the San Antonio Silver Stars, calling the action. The Sooner Sports Network radio broadcast with Brian Brinkley airs on KREF 1400 AM in Oklahoma City and Norman.

REUNION WEEKEND
Oklahoma will reunite its women's basketball alumni this weekend and feature a 10th anniversary celebration of its 2002 Final Four team with halftime recognition Saturday. Both the members of the 2002 squad and current Sooners will sign autographs following the game.

OU's 2002 team went 32-4, winning both the Big 12 regular season and tournament championships and finished as the national runner-up to Connecticut, becoming the first in program history to reach the Final Four.

Members of the 2002 team returning include Lindsey Casey, LaNeishea Caufield-Daniels, Jen Cunningham, Stacey Dales, Caton Hill-Simoni, Dionnah Jackson, Stephanie Luce, Kate Scott-Goldberg, Shannon Selmon-Carter, Lauren Shoush, Stephanie Simon, Jamie Talbert-Wyrick, Antoinette Wadsworth and the family of the late Rosalind Ross.

OU Tickets Available
• Season Tickets are available for as low as $114. Tickets may be purchased online at SoonerSports.com or by calling the OU Athletics Ticket Office at 1-800-456-GoOU.
• Single-game tickets went on sale to the general public Nov. 1. Prices are $15 for reserved seating, $8 for general admission adults and $5 for general admission youths and senior citizens. OU students receive free admission when presenting a valid ID.

The Teams
• Missouri is 10-12 overall but winless in the Big 12 at 0-11. The Tigers most recently lost at home to Iowa State, 65-52, Wednesday.
• Oklahoma is 15-7 and in second place in the Big 12 with a 7-4 record in conference play. OU is not ranked in either poll.
• Oklahoma defeated Missouri 62-59 in Columbia, Mo., on Jan. 28. The Sooners have a chance to even the all-time series record, which is currently 29-28 in Missouri's favor, before the Tigers jump to the Southeastern Conference next season.

The Coaches
Sherri Coale is 351-162 (.684) in her 16th season at Oklahoma. She has been named the Big 12 Coach of the Year four times.
• Robin Pingeton is 23-30 (.434) in her second season at Missouri and 359-187 (.658) in her 17th season overall.

Next Game
• Pack the Place Pink night brings No. 3 Connecticut to the Lloyd Noble Center Monday, Feb. 13, for ESPN2's Big Monday broadcast at 8 p.m. CT. The game is Oklahoma's recognition of the Play4Kay effort raising awareness for women's cancers and the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.

PREVIEWING MISSOURI
Missouri comes to Norman still seeking its first win in Big 12 play. After speeding through the non-conference calendar at 10-1, the Tigers have come up empty in league play, despite a number of close games at home. However, Mizzou's average margin of defeat in Big 12 road games is 28 points.

Senior forwards Christine Flores and BreAnna Brock lead Missouri. Flores averages 17.3 points and 7.6 rebounds. Brock contributes 13.9 points and 8.1 boards per game.

Flores scored a game-high 24 points in the earlier matchup with Oklahoma before fouling out in the final minute.

Guards Morgan Eye and Liene Pride are even with both averaging 7.2 points and 3.0 rebounds. Freshman point guard Kyley Simmons adds 4.0 points per game and dishes an average of 3.8 assists.

 
 Sooner to Watch 

Kaylon Williams | Fr. | Center
Williams had a career day in the earlier meeting with Missouri as she totaled a double-double with 11 points and 16 rebounds in just her third start. Williams has been a fine replacement in the lineup following Joanna McFarland's injury, averaging 4.7 points and 7.3 rebounds since the junior forward suffered a broken jaw seven games back.

   

SIGNEE KORNET AN ALL-AMERICAN
Oklahoma women's basketball signee Nicole Kornet will be a participant in the 2012 WBCA High School All-American Game. The 21st Annual All-America Game features the nation's top 20 high school senior girls' basketball players.

Kornet, rated by scouting services as highly as the No. 5 guard and No. 19 overall in the Class of 2012, has averaged 21 points and seven rebounds for Liberty Christian (Argyle, Texas) this season.

HAND VOTED ACADEMIC ALL-AMERICAN
Oklahoma's Whitney Hand was voted to the Capital One Academic All-District 7 Women's Basketball First Team, announced Thursday by the College Sports Information Directors of America. As a first-team all-district selection, the Sooner co-captain will be eligible for consideration as an Academic All-American.Hand graduated with a 3.76 GPA in health and exercise science in December. The Sooners have had 13 Academic All-District women's basketball players under the 16-year tutelage of Sherri Coale. Four have been voted Academic All-Americans.

COALE CLOSING ON VICTORY NO. 500
Sherri Coale guided Norman High School to two state championships and a 147-40 record in seven years before becoming the Sooners' head coach. In the college ranks, Coale has 351 victories in 16 seasons, leaving her just two shy of 500 in her career as a head coach.

TWO SOONERS ON NAISMITH WATCH
Sophomore Aaryn Ellenberg and redshirt-junior Whitney Hand were among the 51 women's college basketball players on the Naismith Trophy Early-Season Watch List released Nov. 29. Ellenberg has averaged 15.7 points for Oklahoma this season. Against Liberty, the 5-7 guard set an OU record by making a 3-pointer in a 23rd consecutive game, which extended to 29. Hand has totaled 12.4 points and 6.7 rebounds per game as she recently crossed 900 career points.

Redshirt-junior Whitney Hand and sophomore Aaryn Ellenberg are closing on Oklahoma's top 10 career 3-point records. Ellenberg is No. 5 all-time with 148 career 3-pointers, trailing No. 4 Carin Stites by four. Hand is No. 9 with 134 career 3's, trailing No. 8 Stacey Dales by two makes.
