WACO, Texas -- Oklahoma's Sharane Campbell was named the Big 12 Freshman of the Week, voted by a media panel for games played Jan. 30-Feb. 5, Monday by the conference office.

Campbell connected on eight of 10 shots for a career-high 23 points in OU's 78-64 overtime win at Kansas. She totaled five points in overtime as OU outscored Kansas 10-4 in the extra period. Campbell also had a career-high four steals in the contest.
The Spencer, Okla., native led the Sooners to an 80-71 win over Oklahoma State with a 20-point, 12-rebound performance for her first career double-double.
