• Trailing 34-31 at halftime, Oklahoma allowed No. 8 Kansas to shoot .714 from the field in the second half of an 84-62 Jayhawks win in Lawrence, Kan.
• Kansas made its first 10 field goal attempts of the second-half after shooting .393 in the first half. It finished the game with a .554 field goal mark, the highest allowed by OU since the Big 12 opener.
• The Jayhawks used a 25-8 run over the first 8:12 of the second half to take a 20-point lead (59-39).
• After scoring 48 points in the paint against the Sooners on Jan. 7, Kansas registered 46 more tonight.
• Junior forward Romero Osby scored a career-high 19 points for OU on 6-for-16 field goal and 6-for-7 free throw shooting. He added a 3-pointer on his only attempt (fourth make of the season) and pulled down a team-high seven rebounds.
• Junior guard Steven Pledger netted 17 points on 6-for-13 shooting. He made his only two 3-point attempts (now shooting .445 from behind the arc on the season) and went 3-for-4 from the free throw line. His free throw miss snapped a string of 24 straight makes.
• Junior forward Andrew Fitzgerald hit seven of his 12 field goal attempts and netted 14 points. He has scored in double figures in 15 of the last 16 games.
• Sophomore forward Tyler Neal was 2-for-3 from the field and scored four points, tied for his most in Big 12 play.
• KU outscored OU 15-9 off turnovers and 14-4 in transition.
• The loss was the Sooners' 11th straight inside Allen Fieldhouse. Kansas is 83-1 in Lawrence since the start of the 2007-08 season.
• OU returns to Norman to host Iowa State on Saturday at 5 p.m. CT. The Cyclones are 16-6 overall and 6-3 in the Big 12.
