On OU's offensive game plan:
"It was kind of interesting. Our offensive key for the night was points in the paint. We wanted to attack off the dribble and didn't think that their help defense was very good. So we wanted to attack off the dribble and they ran a 1-2-2 zone. It gave us a lot of open looks running a 4-out, 1-in. When all four guys can shoot it, you're going to get a lot of opportunities. Got a lot of them in transition just by pushing the ball, which is ironic because that's the way they want to play. Never would I have dreamed we would play a 40-minute game and get up 38 3s, but that's what they gave us. They were all quality shots. Most of them were in rhythm, very few were contested. Most had rebounders in position, so it's not a bad shot for our guys, and obviously not when we shot about 45 percent from 3."

On the newcomers being top scorers:
"I thought Maddie is beginning to get a little bit of swagger about her. It looks like she's beginning to trust herself with the basketball in her hand. Made some great passes. Ran the floor. Couple of really nice finishes, clever finishes.

"It was good to have Nicole [Kornet] on the floor for an extended period of time. I think you saw some of the things she could do. She's a great open shooter and it doesn't matter if it's from 15 feet or 22, she can put the ball in the basket. I thought she did some really good things. She got a little tired; she and Portia [Durrett] both got a little bit tired, but that is the most extensive minutes they have played and the breakneck pace of that game, because Oregon makes one or two passes and shoots it, we weren't substituting much. They had to play through that. I thought it was good for both of them. They both needed to be in a game, in a situation, where every possession wasn't life or death. So really good for them today."

On Aaryn Ellenberg's performance:
"You could tell that she was irritated at herself that she made unnecessary fouls that sort of handcuffed her throughout the game yesterday. I figured today, if she got an opportunity, she would capitalize on it. It was just one of those perfect storms where that type of defense is just a moneyball for her. She got opportunities. Also, she played really hard defensively, really made an attempt to block out and do a better job in that regard, which is what got her pulled out of the game yesterday. A really good afternoon for Vegas."

On Sunday's matchup with Hawaii:
"They're better than advertised; they really are. They're scrappy, they're organized, they have a play, they seem to understand how they want to play and they gave Arkansas all they wanted today. And they're at home. You have to be a whole lot better than them to win here. Hopefully, our guys will be focused and I think they will be. They got to see a little of the Arkansas game and I think they have respect for them and rightly so."

Junior Guard Aaryn Ellenberg

On rebounding from Friday's one-point performance:
"Some early foul trouble got me sitting so I couldn't get into a rhythm like I'm used to. It caused a little bit of trouble. One point, that's obviously not my best performance. I got a lot more minutes tonight. They were giving up a lot of things. Everybody was penetrating and pitching, so it was a lot of easy shots coming.

"We did have a shootaround here this morning, which the other day was at another gym. So I do think that helped us get into a little better feel and then, also, everybody just finding each other at the right times. We were wide open a lot of the times."
