Oklahoma defeated Oregon 100-61 in the first meeting ever between the two teams Saturday at the Rainbow Wahine Showdown at the Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Oklahoma improved to 9-6 all-time in games played in Honolulu and 7-3 inside the Stan Sheriff Center.
Sophomore guard Aaryn Ellenberg followed a 1-point performance Friday versus Arkansas by totaling season highs in points, rebounds and assists against Oregon on Saturday. Ellenberg finished with 27 points, six rebounds and five assists.
Ellenberg's 27 points pushed her ahead of teammate Whitney Hand, who had eight points, in career scoring. Ellenberg and Hand moved past Nyeshia Stevenson (1,176 points) on OU's all-time scoring list. Ellenberg is 22nd in career scoring at Oklahoma with 1,178 and Hand is 23rd with 1,177.
Oklahoma's 17 3-point field goal makes and 38 3-point field goal attempts were school records.
Sherri Coale is 361-169 (.681) in her 17th season as head coach of the Sooners.
