THE GAME PLAN
Oklahoma meets Kansas at Allen Fieldhouse in Lawrence, Kan., in a battle among second-place teams in the Big 12 standings Tuesday, Jan. 31, at 7 p.m. The game will be televised on the Sooner Sports Network with Nate Butaky and Brenda VanLengen on the call. The radio broadcast with Brian Brinkley airs on KOKC 1520 AM in Oklahoma City and KREF 1400 AM in Norman.

OU Tickets Available
• Season Tickets are available for as low as $114. Tickets may be purchased online at SoonerSports.com or by calling the OU Athletics Ticket Office at 1-800-456-GoOU.
• Single-game tickets went on sale to the general public Nov. 1. Prices are $15 for reserved seating, $8 for general admission adults and $5 for general admission youths and senior citizens. OU students receive free admission when presenting a valid ID.

The Teams
• Kansas is 16-4 and 5-3 in conference play, last dropping a 74-46 decision at Baylor on Saturday. The Jayhawks are not ranked.
• Oklahoma is 13-6 and 5-3 in conference play. OU is not ranked in either poll.
• Oklahoma holds a slim lead in the all-time series with 28 wins and 27 losses against Kansas. The Jayhawks have a 13-11 advantage at Allen Fieldhouse.

The Coaches
• Sherri Coale is 349-161 (.684) in her 16th season at Oklahoma. She has been named the Big 12 Coach of the Year four times.
• Bonnie Henrickson is 133-112 (.543) in her eighth season at Kansas and 291-174 (.626) in her 15th overall.

PREVIEWING KANSAS
Kansas is off to its best start since 2000. At 16-4 overall with a 5-3 in Big 12 play, the Jayhawks have the lead share in a four-way tie for second place in the Big 12 standings.

Junior Carolyn Davis leads KU with 18.2 points per game and is second nationally in field goal percentage (.628). Davis has been the team's leading scorer in its last two games, counting a season-high 34 points in a 62-43 win at then-No. 21 Texas Tech and 12 in a 74-46 loss against No. 1 Baylor.

Junior Angel Goodrich is the national-leader in assists per game, averaging 7.8, and adds 12.3 points per game. Goodrich is also among the top 15 nationally with a 3.3 steals average.

Kansas ranks third in the NCAA for team field goal percentage (.479) and shoot well from beyond the arc, but average only 3.2 makes per game with Goodrich accounting for a team-leading 22 3-pointers.

Freshman Natalie Knight is the lone underclassmen in KU's starting lineup. She has the fewest turnovers among KU starters with 24.

Sooner to Watch
	Kaylon Williams \| Fr. \| Forward Against one of the most productive frontcourts in the Big 12 Conference, Kaylon Williams had her finest game as a Sooner. The freshman had season highs with 11 points and 16 rebounds, playing 31 minutes without a turnover. Williams will meet another pair of outstanding forwards when OU faces Kansas, who is led by Carolyn Davis and Aishah Sutherland.

OU-MISSOURI LEFTOVERS
• Against Missouri, Ellenberg was 0-for-5 from 3-point range, only her fourth scoreless performance from beyond the arc but her first in back-to-back games after missing six against Baylor on Jan. 26. Ellenberg's current streak of 11 missed 3-pointers is the longest of her career.

• Nicole Griffin's 10-point second half at Missouri (Jan. 28) was her best scoring period of the season and second best of her career to only a 14-point second half against Notre Dame in the 2011 NCAA Regional Semifinal. Griffin played nine minutes in each half at Missouri, but scored only two points in the first period.

• Kaylon Williams' 16 rebounds were a career high and matched the most by a Sooner this season, equaling the total grabbed by Joanna McFarland in Oklahoma's 69-63 loss to Ohio State on Dec. 4. The last Sooner to have more rebounds was Amanda Thompson, who totaled 19 against Texas A&M in the 2010 Big 12 Championship Game. Thompson was also the last Sooner to have more offensive rebounds (nine) than Williams totaled at Missouri (eight).

• Oklahoma's frontcourt scored 42 percent (26 of 62) points at Missouri (Jan. 28), the second highest such percentage of the season. The only greater output was when OU's post players totaled 26 of 63 (49 percent) points scored at Oklahoma State on Jan. 14. In that game, Joanna McFarland scored a season-high 16, but suffered a fractured jaw and has not played since.

• Oklahoma faced an 11-point deficit before beating Missouri, the second largest rally of the season for the Sooners. OU was behind 12 at New Mexico and won 58-56. It was OU's largest rally in a conference game since the Sooners faced a 21-point deficit at Kansas State on Feb. 21, 2010, and won 64-58.

Two Sooners on Naismith Watch
Sophomore Aaryn Ellenberg and redshirt-junior Whitney Hand were among the 51 women's college basketball players on the Naismith Trophy Early-Season Watch List released Nov. 29. Ellenberg has averaged 16.9 points for Oklahoma this season and has been the team's leading scorer in eight games. Against Liberty, the 5-7 guard set an OU record by making a 3-pointer in a 23rd consecutive game, which extended to 29. Hand has totaled 12.2 points and 6.4 rebounds per game as she recently crossed 850 career points.

Ellenberg's a Steal
The sophomore has 32 steals in the last 12 games, averaging 2.7, which accounts for more nearly 40 percent of her career 54-game total of 83. Through the first nine games of the season, she totaled 15 (1.7 per game). As a freshman, Ellenberg averaged just more than one per game with 37 in 35 games.

Coale Closing on Win No. 500
Sherri Coale guided Norman High School to two state championships and a 147-40 record in seven years before becoming the Sooners' head coach. In the college ranks, Coale has 349 victories in 16 seasons, leaving her just four shy of 500 in her career as a head coach.
