NORMAN, Okla. - Oklahoma baseball Head Coach Sunny Golloway announced two additional signees as part of the 2012 incoming class on Monday.

Prep stars Archie Bradley (Broken Arrow, Okla.) and Adam Choplick (Denton, Texas) signed National Letters of Intent and are set to join the Sooners next fall along with the 14 signees announced in November.

"We are very excited to announce the signing of two big-time arms that really have a chance to come in and help our program," said OU Head Coach Sunny Golloway. "The level in which they've pitched in high school speaks volume for their potential to come in and help the Sooners immediately.

"We feel they have prepared themselves for this next challenge in their careers and we look forward to them being a part of the Sooner family and the tradition of Oklahoma baseball."

Bradley (6-4, 225), a two-sport star in baseball and football at Broken Arrow High School under former Sooner Shannon Dobson, is projected as one of the top prospects for the 2011 Major League Baseball draft. The right-hander recently improved to 10-1 on the season with a win on May 5 with 16 strikeouts in a state playoff game. He has an impressive 0.34 ERA and .140 opponent batting average to go along with 116 strikeouts in 61 1/3 innings pitched so far in 2011.

Bradley is rated as the No. 12 midseason overall prospect by Baseball America as the fifth high school player on the list and comes in at No. 15 on Perfect Game Crosschecker's most recent rankings. In 2010, he helped lead Broken Arrow to the state championship game and finished the campaign at 7-5 with a 1.46 ERA. He also recorded 109 strikeouts and a .197 opponent batting average in 67 1/3 innings pitched.

In August of 2010, Bradley was one of 38 prep players selected to play in the Aflac All-American High School Classic in San Diego, Calif. He has also been named an All-American by Under Armour and Rawlings, while also being named the 6A District III Offensive Player of the Year as the quarterback on the Broken Arrow football team.

Bradley started his prep career at Muskogee High School where he lettered two years and played in the Area Code Games in Long Beach, Calif. following his freshman and sophomore seasons.

Choplick, a 6-8 left-handed pitcher, is also a two-sport star at Denton Ryan High School where he lettered and started on the basketball team for the last three years. In addition to helping the baseball team to a district championship in 2009, Choplick led the basketball squad to three district championships (2009, 2010 and 2011) and an appearance in the 2011 regional finals. The center started in 2009 and was named the district newcomer of the year and was named the district MVP this past season as an all-state selection where he averaged 16.9 points and 10.6 rebounds per game.

On the mound in 2011, Choplick is 2-0 with a 0.00 ERA as of May 1 as coached by Bret Warnack. In his last outing on April 29 versus Little Elm, Choplick tossed a perfect game across seven innings with 16 strikeouts on just 71 pitches.

In 2010, he was limited due to injury and pitched in just five innings while balancing playing time between baseball and basketball.

In 2009, he was named the district newcomer of the yea and area pitcher of the year after posting a 9-1 record and a 0.80 ERA. He also struck out 71 batters that year in 67 innings pitched.

In November of last year, the OU coaching staff inked seven high school players, including four Oklahoma products, and seven players from the junior college ranks. Bradley joins high school teammate and fellow pitcher Mason Hope as part of the 2012 incoming freshmen class.
