NORMAN, Okla. - Per NCAA rules, today's University of Oklahoma men's basketball on-court workout and all others until the official start of practice in mid-October are closed to the general public.
NCAA rules stipulate that out-of-season team workouts, termed "skill-related instruction" sessions, "shall not be publicized and shall not be conducted in view of a general public audience."
New OU head men's basketball coach Lon Kruger said yesterday that the Sooners' practices will be open to the public. That policy will begin on Oct. 14.
