Big 12 Announces Women's Hoops Schedule

Send the Sooners Off to Charlottesville Friday

NORMAN, Okla. -- Sooner fans, be present Friday to send off the OU women's basketball team to the NCAA Championship as the trek to a third straight Final Four begins.

The University of Oklahoma Athletics Department invites fans to the Lloyd Noble Center on Friday, March 18, to wish the team off well as they leave to compete in the first and second rounds of the NCAA Women's Basketball Championship in Charlottesville, Va.

The Sooners will depart the LNC from the South tunnel at 11:30 am. Fans are encouraged arrive early and park in the lots south of the arena.

Oklahoma's band and spirit squads will be on hand.

OU plays 11-seed James Madison Sunday, March 20, at 1:30 p.m. Central at the John Paul Jones Arena. The game will be televised on ESPN2 and webcast on ESPN3.com.
