Oklahoma's regular season home finale is Wednesday, March 2, hosting Oklahoma State at 7 p.m. It will be senior night for Danielle Robinson, Carlee Roethlisberger and Lauren Wills. OU's seniors have won a record 54 times in 62 home games, including 53 of 61 played at the Lloyd Noble Center.
Oklahoma is 14-2 at home this season with its two losses coming by a combined three points. OU lost 80-78 to No. 6 Texas A&M (Jan. 26) and 82-81 to No. 3 Baylor (Feb. 27) with a chance to score on a buzzer-beating shot.
OU won the points in the paint battle, 30-20, after being handled 52-6 by Baylor in the 22-point loss on Feb. 2 in Waco.
The loss gave the Sooners their first consecutive losses in nearly three years after falling to Texas A&M (March 2) and Missouri (March 11) at the end of the 2007-08 season.
Odyssey Sims' nine 3-pointers made set an individual record for an OU opponent, breaking the mark Iowa State's Tara Gunderson set when she hit eight from beyond the arc on Jan. 7, 1996.
With a 45.3 field goal percentage, the highest by a Baylor opponent this season, Oklahoma remains the only team to shoot 40 percent or better against the Lady Bears, who entered the game as the conference leader in field goal percentage defense. OU made 40.6 percent of its field goals in the earlier matchup between the two teams in Waco.
Carlee Roethlisberger
Carlee Roethlisberger record the second double-double of her career (18 points, 10 rebounds vs. Ohio State on Dec. 5, 2010) with an 11-point, 11-rebound performance Sunday.
Danielle Robinson
With 25 points, Danielle Robinson recorded her 112th double-figure scoring game, the second most ever by a Sooner, and 28th of 20 or more points.
Robinson is 16 assists and eight steals shy of joining Dawn Staley and Nancy Lieberman as the third top-level women's college basketball player to total 2,000 points, 700 assists and 300 steals in a career.
Aaryn Ellenberg
Aaryn Ellenberg's 25 points was her highest offensive output since scoring 27 against Baylor in Waco.
The freshman played all 40 minutes of the game for the first time in her career.
Whitney Hand
Hand's six free throws made was a career best and her six attempts matched the highest mark in her career.
