• Ahead 26-25 at halftime, Oklahoma shot just 29 percent in the second half of a 61-47 road loss to No. 21/17 Texas A&M.
• OU held Texas A&M to 41.7 percent shooting in the first half, but the Aggies responded by shooting 54.2 percent in the second.
• In addition to going 8-for-28 from the field after halftime, OU also made just three of its nine second-half free throw attempts.
• The Sooners led at halftime despite committing nine turnovers in the first 20 minutes. OU was outscored by 15 in the second half despite committing just three turnovers.
• Senior Cade Davis registered a game-high 21 points to go along with a team-high seven rebounds. He added an assist and two steals without a turnover in 37 minutes.
• Davis has led OU in rebounding in three straight contests and in nine of his last 13. With three 3-pointers, he also passed Ryan Minor for sole possession of fifth place on OU's career list (173 makes).
• Sophomore forward Andrew Fitzgerald scored all eight of his points in the first half and committed all five of his fouls in the second.
• Freshman forward Tyler Neal played a career-high 28 minutes off the bench but failed to score. He was 0-for-8 from the field (six 3-point attempts) but finished with four rebounds, a career-high two assists and a steal. He also took two charges.
• OU's .333 field goal figure tied as its third worst of the year.
• The Sooners held Texas A&M's two leading scorers on the year to a combined 19 points (Khris Middleton led A&M with 13 while David Loubeau scored six).
• Oklahoma returns home to host No. 3/2 Kansas on Saturday at 3 p.m. CT.
