NORMAN, Okla. -- The University of Oklahoma announced on Friday that 13 baseball games will be televised locally for the 2011 season by Sooner Vision and Sooner Sports Properties.

Twelve of the 13 games will be televised live from Norman with the remaining broadcast coming from game three of the Bedlam Series in Oklahoma City.

The broadcasts will air via the Sooner Sports Network on Cox Channel 3 in Oklahoma City and Tulsa. Local sports personality Toby Rowland from KWTV News 9 (Oklahoma City) will call the play-by-play along with color analyst Kenny Mossman, Oklahoma Associate Athletics Director for Communications.

"In addition to our radio coverage, this is another opportunity to showcase the tradition of our program to Sooner fans across the state," said OU Head Baseball Coach Sunny Golloway. "It is a great opportunity for those fans who can't always make it to Norman, to follow more games."

The first game can be seen on Tuesday, March 12 as Oklahoma hosts Arkansas Little Rock. First pitch between the No. 5 Sooners and the Trojans is slated for 2 p.m.

On top of the local coverage, the Sooners can also be seen nationally for three contests, starting with the game on April 30 at Texas on Fox Sports Southwest. On May 1, the series finale against the Longhorns will be televised by ESPNU.

On May 7, Fox Sports Southwest will set up shop at L. Dale Mitchell Park to broadcast game two of the series against the Kansas Jayhawks. The network will also carry the final game of the 2011 Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship.

In the last six years, 69 OU games have been seen on regional or national television, with 20 telecasts in 2010. The Sooners won 50 games last season en route to the program's 10th College World Series appearance. All but one position starter returns from the squad this season.

In addition to the television broadcasts, the entire home schedule can be viewed online at OU All-Access, the premium site on SoonerSports.com, allowing fans around the country to catch the action live from Norman. All-Access subscriptions are available in monthly ($9.95) and annual ($99.95) packages. For more information, click here.
