NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The University of Oklahoma women's tennis team finished its 2011 fall tournament season with two wins in singles at the Eck Tennis Classic at the University of Notre Dame Sunday.
Sophomore Mia Lancaster and freshman Nicole Long won in singles for the Sooners on day three of the tournament.
Lancaster defeated Ryann Cutillo of Wake Forest, 6-3, 6-4, while Long topped Wake Forest's Zane Zarina in the tiebreaker, 0-6, 6-4, 6-1.
Whitney Wofford fell to Karen Forman of Wake Forest despite winning the first set, 6-2, 3-6, 6-2.
Senior Peta Maree Lancaster also lost Sunday to Wake Forest's Rebecca Siegler, 6-1, 6-1.
